Birla Sun Life Focused Equity Fund – Series 3

The launch of Birla Sun Life Focused Equity Fund – Series 3. The fund will be a Large cap diversified fund (3 year close ended) which will invest in the Top 100 companies by Market Capitalization. The NFO dates for the fund will be 7th October 2014 to 21st October 2014.

The fund is the third part in the RGESS series and has some of the following features:

ü The fund is a Large Cap diversified fund which focuses on creating value by investing in shares of handpicked companies from S&P BSE 100 and CNX 100. The fund can also invest in the PSU Navratna, Maharatna and Miniratna

ü It will have a close ended structure which allows the fund manager to follow abuy-and-hold strategy and stay invested in certain high-conviction ideas

ü An additional Tax Benefit for eligible RGESS investors to claim benefits under section (80CCG) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, over and above section 80C
