*  Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
* Perform coding to written technical specifications.
* Investigate, analyse and document reported defects.
* Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
* Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
* Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
* Performs related duties as assigned

Desired Profile :    

• Good programming skills in Java, J2EE, Relational Database Management Systems, Perl, Shell Script. Linux /Windows and Object Oriented Analysis /Design
• Knowledge of Eclipse. Tomcat, Oracle, ORM Technology such as Hibernate, Web Application Framework such as JSF is essential.
• Knowledge of Java Open Source such as Spring. Log4j, Jasperreport, JUnit, Any, iText is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Spring Security and Java Persistence API (JPA is highly advantageous.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Analytical thinking skills and a good problem-solver with a positive work attitude and ability to work independently
