Job title: Websphere Admin. Experience: 4 - 8 Years  Location: Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs Education: UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization, PG - Any PG Course - Any  Requirements: At least 5 years experience with WebSphere Application Server (Administration, troubleshooting and architecture)  At least 5 years of experience with JBoss Application Server and Apache HTTP Server (Administration, troubleshooting and architecture)  At least 5 years experience with WebSphereMQ messaging middleware (Administration, troubleshooting and architecture)  Intermediate Unix skills (Command line, shell scripting, troubleshooting and networking)  Working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (Windows 2000, Windows 2003)  Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks and topology  Excellent oral and written communication skills  Full use and application of standard IT principles, practices, and techniques  Familiarity with software development lifecycles and programming practices  Experience with or working knowledge of WebSphere Process Server or WebSphereMQ Workflow software a plus. Job Duties:  Be part of a 24*7 on-call rotation schedule.  Provide assistance to application support teams by troubleshooting complex problems with root cause analysis.  Communicate problems and solutions both verbally and in writing to internal customers and management.  Create and follow standard processes, plan effectively to complete tasks on schedule, and clearly document results.  Insure that operational requirements are met by understanding the role of middleware in meeting enterprise Service Level Agreements.  Participate in meetings with Project Teams, Architecture Standard Working Groups, and Change Management.  Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, application server tuning and troubleshooting, and overall technical acumen.
