Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

As Senior Associate, Platform Core Java you will help to realize innovative IT solutions for our clients in the area of Trading and Risk Management (TRM) solutions. With your strong experience you will provide leadership to your small international team to deliver components of the overall IT architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, plan and implement IT solutions for a Platform Core Java technical environment
• Lead mid-level planning exercises with developers/engineers
• Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
• Project Manage scope, time and quality throughout the project life-cycle
• Facilitate and drive workshops and client meetings in order to help to translate business requirements into system design

Desired Profile:

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong, hands-on experience with Core Java technology development. Experience in JDBC, Java 5 with performance tuning Java-based applications desirable
• Experience with message processing/streaming desirable, Database programming skills in Oracle a plus
• Proficient in UML, OOAD, Multithreading,
• Experience with JPROBE or JPROFILER, JUNIT, JMX a plus
• End-to-end experience in software development lifecycle and familiar with agile methodologies.
